I have been trying to leave (positive) seller feedback for specific items, but I am experiencing several problems.
When I select an item from the “you need to provide feedback for this item” email, I can access the feedback option, but “optional” fields are not optional. For example, I ordered several books from an eBay seller - they all arrived in one package, all in good “pre-read” condition. The item I received was in acceptable condition, as stated by the seller, and was delivered in a timely fashion. When I selected the applicable fields, there was also an “optional” field for detailed feedback about the specific item.
The detailed comment field is listed as “optional”, but I cannot submit feedback (the seller did a good job) without providing a written essay.
This is ludicrous!
