Cannot customize view in search

In search results, I like to see the sellers name.  The past few days, I have not been able to customize the view to include the seller.  Selecting Customize from View does nothing.

I usually use Chrome to access eBay, but have also tried Edge.  Same problem recently.

Re: Cannot customize view in search

I just tried the "customize" drop down from the "view" on a search result page -- no effect in Firefox, Chrome, Edge or Opera. I can change the view from gallery to list, but that customize option does nothing that I can see.

So, it's not just you. Something is broken.

Re: Cannot customize view in search

The Customize link goes nowhere. I can still see the information that I had set up previously in that Customize view but that link is broken if you wanted to change anything on Customize.

I swear ... every day it is something else with this place.

I have a theory ... I think they are playing around with all sorts of stuff because they want a bunch of shiny new stuff to roll out at Ebay Open and when they change one thing they break something else.

Re: Cannot customize view in search

I just noticed the same issue. I always use a customized search results list and now I cannot.

and they still haven't even noticed there's an issue. the drop down menu for things like sorting results or 'view' syle when 'inspected' show there is actually no code or link operating these buttons. they are blank code.

Thank you.  Glad to know I am not alone.

Re: Cannot customize view in search

I understand the techs wanting something new to play around with but, as with other selling sites (which will remain nameless), they do not seem to take into account the frustration this causes for buyers (and sellers) when their better mousetrap does not work properly.  As a buyer, I know that, after awhile, I simply give up and find somewhere else to spend my money.

To quote a wonderful saying "Don't fix it if it ain't broke."
