Cannot access Summary or anything on the drop down menu

Earlier this week I found that I could not access my Summary Page or any other things on the drop down menu so I have to access to my bids, purchases list, and so forth.  Whenever I click on the place I want to go, a white blank pop up box occurs and that's all.  I am like totally kept from viewing anything.  For all I know someone hacked my account and is buying stuff and I wouldn't be able to see it. Anyone else having this issue?

What browser are you using? Do you get the same white blank if you use a different browser?

In the past users, particularly those using Safari or Chrome on a Mac have run into similar sounding popups that could not be dismissed properly. If that is happening to you, you may be able to open the page using a different browser or a different device and dismiss that popup, then return to your original browser or device and proceed to your Summary page.

As a matter of fact, it only happens on my chromebook.  I can access everything ok on my PC.  No pop-up shows at all on my PC.  But, this all started on my chromebook soon after I clicked on a link in a suspicious email (yes I know that's dumb but I was very tired and stressed out that day).

Is it possible that eBay links are trying to open in the eBay app?

If so, try this:

Open Chromebook Settings, scroll down to Google Play Store and select it. Select "Manage Android Preferences". From there go to Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links: "Don't open in this app". Then back out of the settings and browser links should open in the browser rather than the eBay app.

Or else, open Chromebook Settings, and select Apps. Select "Manage your Apps". From there go to eBay: More Settings: Advanced: Open by default: Open supported links: "Don't open in this app".
