On May 1, 2024 I received an Ebay notice that I had sold an item. Within 5 minutes, the buyer wanted to cancel because she said she made a mistake by buying. I answered within minutes that I APPROVED the cancellation.
On May 4, I received an email from Ebay saying:
"We let the buyer know that you can no longer cancel this order because you didn't reply to them within 3 days. If you already shipped this order, add tracking details or mark the order as shipped in My eBay." |
I tried to cancel again but the message comes up saying:
"A cancellation already exists"
"You cannot cancel this order because a cancellation exists on this order. "
I emailed the buyer and told her I had approved the cancellation immediately when requested. I also followed up asking the buyer if she had received a refund for what she paid. The buyer hasn't responded to either email.
The virtual assistant was no help. She didn't understand my situation.
I keep getting Ebay notifications that I need to ship the item immediately. I don't know what to do.
I would appreciate any advice about how to get Ebay to acknowledge my cancellation on May 1 and let me know if the buyer already received a refund or if I need to refund her money.
