Can't list anything. The image uploader is taking forever and then it gives an internal error message(SD009). No way to contact customer support either because they don't open until 8am EST....

Wow it seems this post is blowing up (a lot of backlash from the community). TBH this is unacceptable. I would be fine with scheduled maintenance (like Valve does with the steammarket, sad I cant sell my items there), but it not working out of the blue feels quite amaturistic for such a big company. I'm glad to hear about the CS phonecalling story, it's just weird that we are getting updated by the community itself and not by like Ebay Costumer Support Moderators? I know this aint Reddit but why arent employees joining this debate and clarifying what is going on?

9:30 EST, trying to list stuff...pictures not uploading, just keep getting Internal Error SD009 notice...listings jjust going into drafts without pix until eBay get their sh*t together...lame, as ever...

Same here and this could explain why yesterday it was slow as molasses to upload the pictures. The beginning of a problem.

As a brick and mortar business owner who provided web hosting, managed IT services, and relied heavily on an ISP to keep me up and running, anytime they did go down for an unexpected outage for a lengthy period of time, they would credit my account as compensation for loss of productivity and potential loss of business/damages.

They did not have to; however, they did it as a professional courtesy between two businesses. I have a very strong feeling eBay is not going to toss anything but a huge GFU our way when it comes time to account for the loss in sales/business due to this outage.
