Is not being able to print FedEx labels a thing right now? I just came in to Managed Payments in the last 2-3 weeks. I listed a large item with FedEx ground, but when someone bought it, FedEx as a shipping option is grayed out and only USPS comes up.
Item value was/is $1990 -- is that too high for FedEx or something?
Appreciate any insight - thank you.

@anneecakes Known bug since the 14th for some people. No fix in sight at this point. Have to ship another way unfortunately.

Did you have FedEx on the listing?
Is the item oversized/overweight?
Is there a PO Box in the address?

Buyer selected and paid for FedEx ground. I have FedEx Labels options, but FedEx Ground is gone (since 8/22/20). Anyone else noticed?

I have the same issue. I can't print a Fedex Ground label. Has anyone contacted Ebay?

I have -- they said they need support from FedEx IT and they couldn't fix over the weekend for some reason...

Sorry to hear from so many people that they also experienced the glitch. In my case, it must have been a different issue, because I did get it to work. I remembered that my buyer talked about having changed her (usual) home delivery address to her work address before she purchased. After changing her address back to her usual (default in eBay) home address, the FedEx Ground option came back and I was able to print the label.

@anneecakes If it is not too late I strongly recommend against changing the shipping address on any order let alone a high value one. If you don't ship to the address supplied in the purchase you will lose your seller protection and could have other problems. If the buyer wants to change their address best way to do that is cancel the sale and redo the order.
As of this moment it looks like the FedEx Ground glitch has been fixed. Hoping eBay doesn't break it again. 🤞

I also had this FedEx label printing problem, specifically with the "new" design of the PRINT SHIPPING LABEL page (early September 2020. Found the solution in this forum. The customer included their P.O. Box number (in addition to the street address) in the address and FedEx cannot ship to a P.O. Box! By temporarily cutting the P.O. Box by editing the address, the problem was instantly resolved. I was able to compare rates (on long hauls FedEx GROUND or HOME DELIVERY is often much cheaper). I replaced the P.O. Box info when I ultimately chose Priority Mail service.
Ebay Support Chat was no help and clueless as to why FedEx options were grayed-out. Over the years it seems that Ebay Support and Tech Assistance expertise has declined. I almost always look elsewhere for answers before asking for Ebay Support.
I am not at all happy with the changes to the PRINT SHIPPING LABEL page. What was the reason to reduce its functionality?
BTW, I have stopped using FedEx SmartPOST entirely as settling damage/non-delivery claims was a time-consuming nightmare, Neither the USPS nor FedEx wanted to take responsibility and pay up, each saying it was the other's obligation. SmartPOST rates are sometimes better but choosing it is like foregoing the included $50/$100 protection.

I came here looking for an answer to this question and found the above answer very helpful. Fed Ex probably can't ship to a P.O. Box address. So after getting in contact with the buyer I was able to edit his address to have it shipped to his home rather than P.O. Box and the FedEx option was then available.

Why would a PO box matter? Is it because my item wont fit??
