Can’t make an offer on items. Bidding buying limit even though account is old

I can’t make offers on any items it says I have reached the biddding/buying limit my PayPal is fully verified but I get the instructions: PayPal Verification.

it’s been like this over 48 hours. My PayPal is fully verified, account is since 2012, 100% positive feedback. Chat representatives tell me different things but nothing fixes my problem, any help?

Happening to many of us.  Very old, strong track record account here too.  CS thinks there is a bug.  It has been 72 hours for us.

Yeah I’ve been told a bug by CS but then also that there is no bug by CS to wait 24 hours 48 hours even 20 minutes in one case. Still no luck, glad I’m not the only one who has this bug. Very frustrating.

The best place to report this type of issue, or ANY technical issue is social media.  As a general rule ebay staff does not read this board.  It is a member to member support board.  Since you sound like you have already verified accounts that is all we would suggest.

Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.

They may take a few days to get back to you if you use social media.

This is more likely related to limits placed due to inactive; and then becoming active.

No activity shown for 6 months: and now you are purchasing.

This is done to protect accounts from such things as hijacked accounts and so on.

@donsdetour   While that may be the issue for some OP's here @big4northeast couldn't be more active, they are a shooting star and do not show breaks in feedback history

CS has tried to manually override with no luck.  We buy 1000s of items per month

See if you can get some one in trust and safety on this.

You are not the first in the last week with such problems.

Possible a technical glitch.

If the bots are just going off of feedback: you show

No activity for at or over 6 months, and then starting this month you show activity.

You also show no feedback given that is recent.

It is a normal thing for eBay to limit due to inactivity.

I’ve been active pretty much daily since 2012 so I don’t understand. And the feedback shows for the last month, then it goes to 6 month then 12 it doesn’t show month to month feedback. Well not in the app anyway
