Can't login to my eBay accounts with my password!?

Windows 11. Firefox or Microsoft Edge. My account passwords are not accepted, though they worked just hours ago. I had to have a code texted to me. Why doesn't my password work anymore?

Plus, since when do I have to login to my Ebay account to access HELP?

Same issue. Just printed a label a few hours ago. Dropped off the item, did a little shopping, had more items sell while I was out, get home, go to print new labels, and nothing. I tried to login from other browsers and eBay won't even let me login on any of them.

Ditto.  eBay tells me the same password that I've used since 2020, that I even used earlier today, now all of a sudden is incorrect.  Like you, I got in by having a "security code" texted to me.  I tried restarting my computer to see if that would solve the problem ... it didn't.  Then it occurred to me to check this board for other complaints. 

edited to add ==>>   It's the next morning now, and I was able to sign in using my password.  So I guess all's well that ends well.

I had to create a new password for my computer and use that for my iPhone eBay app. as well.

I would think NO sales coming in today since all buyers have to enter new passwords.

I just logged out and back in WITH MY PASSWORD.

Seems to be resolved in my case, at least for now.

Any idea what happened?

I've NEVER had password issues on eBay before today. I thought my account was hacked!

Same thing with me at about 5:00 it hit. I was logged in and talking to customer service about an issue and around 5:00 they had me log in from an incognito window and then my password stopped working.
