Can't edit Custom Watchlist NAME - Please HELP!

eBay has changed the watchlists again.

They have removed the ability to change the name of our custom watchlists - which is completely absurd! (Having the new layout too large and having to scroll left and right to see the entire page is another major frustration, but that's a different post)

I have been clicking on the link on the individual item pages, to go to my lists (and see them in the older, easier to use version, as well as edit the list name) for quite a while.  I just had to get to one of the items, on the list that I was trying to view and click on the link at the top of the page. They are now forcing you to go to the NEW version of the lists.

If anyone comes up with a way to change the name of our watchlists, Please post it!

Yes, it appears that the old list formats have finally been converted to the new "watch list" style, and the ability to rename lists using the edit link has gone with it. If I do find a link to the old format, I will post it.

One possible workaround -- create a new list with the name you prefer. Then move the items from the old list to the new list using the "select all" checkbox, and "add to list" button at the top of the old list.

I found a link for the old Wish list page, but unfortunately it is a different style from the other custom list URLs, and is not directly interchangeable.

For what it is worth:

https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextListIndex&wl=1

If I recall correctly, the other list URLs had both the list name spelled out, and the custom list number. The number still appears in the new style URL, but I am not sure of the exact format that was used.

If someone who still sees the old style pages can post a link that would be helpful. The old style link is located at the top of an item on the custom list, in the blue band where is says "Saved on your Listname List  |  Remove".

Just checked Canada, Australia and UK -- all have the new Watch list style links now.

I had intended to bookmark my old list links, but somehow never got around to it.

Can't edit Custom Watchlist NAME - Please HELP!

This is appalling, eBay.co.uk seems determined to undermine their users' experience. First they remove the "add-to-list" function" and now I cannot edit the names of my custom watch lists. I cannot add a new list as I had already exceeded the new limit on the number of lists. ebay.co.uk is becoming more and more difficult to use......

If you no longer see the "Add to Watchlist" button with the drop-down to your other lists when using a desktop browser, or if the link has been replaced with a text link, try signing out of eBay and then signing back in. Currently I can see that button and the drop-down on both ebay.com and ebay.co.uk sites.

I cannot edit the names of my custom watch lists.

Currently the only way I have found to alter list names is to create an entirely new list and move the items between the two lists, then delete the old list.

I cannot add a new list as I had already exceeded the new limit on the number of lists.

If you have reached the maximum number of lists (50?), then your only option is to consolidate some of the smaller lists so that you can create another list, or else create a new account to save more items/lists.

For those of you suggesting that we create new lists and move all the items over from the old list. The only issue with this is that any "ended" items that were in the old list won't transfer over to the newly created list. This is a problem for those of us who like to be able to view ended items so we can see values of items already sold. I'm a coin collector and it really stinks to lose all those ended listings.

Ended items can be added to another list using the old "All Lists" page:

https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&SortOrder=ASCEND&GotoPage=1&MyeBayListIndex.Filter=A...
