Can't contact Member. Error: "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later."

Hello. I am trying to contact a seller. I have been trying on different browsers, computers, everything, and I still can't get to contact the seller of an item. I only get the error message: "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later"

Can someone assist me on fixing this issue?

Thanks so much.

If you are trying to contact a seller regarding a transaction that is older than 60 days, you may run into problems. If possible, try to contact the seller through a current listing.

If the seller has no current listings but is still registered on eBay, you can try contacting the seller through the seller's profile page. You can reach a seller's profile page by going to your own profile page, and then pasting the seller's username in the page URL in your browser's address bar, and then hitting 'enter' to load the page. Use the "contact" link on that page. If you are prompted for an item number, use the "not about an item" choice, since old items may no longer work.

Thank you! That actually helped. Even though I was trying to reach the seller through an active listing, it didn't let me. Once I did it with the "this is not about an item" option, it went through without an error message.

One thing I just noticed though.. Looks like the messages did go through, even while I was getting the error message lol. I just checked my "Sent" messages folder and they are all there. The seller is now flooded with about 10 messages from me haha. Hopefully he doesn't take that negatively.

Thanks so much for your help!

You are welcome -- I am glad to hear you were able to send a message. It is possible that the seller did not receive all of those messages. If you mention that you were getting an error message, the seller will likely understand; most sellers have to deal with similar issues on their end of things and will understand that it is not your fault but eBay's.
