Is anyone else having issues creating invoices? I have bene trying for the past hour to send an invoice to a customer and keep getting this message -
"Something went wrong. Please try again later."

What was the solution?
I have been getting the same errors when generating invoices for some of my buyers who purchased multiple items. This has been happening since 2/12/22

I am still waiting for this to be fixed! Customer service knows about it apparently, but they told me expect at least 72 hours from yesterday 02/14/2022. Since most of my customers are multiple purchase buyers this is a HUGE problem for me right now.. I just tried and still get something went wrong, try later! Getting frustrated at this point! Makes me not want to list anything because who knows if it will be fixed when these go off. or one of my customers just said they will stop purchasing until they get an invoice! Cleared cookies and cache, still nothing, Tried two different browsers.. NOTHING! **bleep** this needs to get fixed soon!

This has been going on since 2/11/22. I had one buyer purchase 63 items. I know that eBay only allows 40 items per invoice. I was not even able to generate smaller invoices to break up the order. eBay rep told me to cancel the 63 items and create 1 listing that the buyer could then purchase for the price of the 63 items that he won. Since the invoices were all screwed up, I had to cancel most of the items one by one.
I thought it was just that order which had a problem until I heard from several other buyers who could not access their invoices. It does not affect all invoices. So far, it appears to affect invoices that consist of multiple items.
As of this morning, ebay rep told me that they are aware of the issue and are working on it. They told me the same thing on Sat, Sun, Mon & Tues.
I now have several buyers who want to pay but cannot because of this mess.

Having the same issue. Tried sending out invoice for 8 items on an invoice request. Just keep getting big red box with error message. I have tried so many times it is all messed up now!

It is 2/17/2022 at 5am. Been up most of the night trying to send an invoice for 8 items. All I can get is a big red box that says ERROR please try later. I have tried so many work arounds that it is surely all messed now. Repeat customer and I can't send them an invoice for their order.

The answer is NO. This is the 3rd time since January this has happened and ebay knows they have a problem, but won't fix it. CS on the phone is just a message service and cannot help either. Frustrating to see them farm out CS and not provide real service. So far, their answer is to wait 4 days. That's it.

Have a same issue but can't reach CS, it's just throwing me automated agent and whatever I ask/type it offers help topics. Finally got to "Contact an agent" just to receive reply about (non) working hours
All I wanted was to be added to open ticket. CS is poor, there should be separate/dedicated CS for sellers, sort of messaging/email system where you could leave your message and get reply in a timely fashion.
I can't believe this issue is now over a month since discovered and still not fixed?? So, I can't issue invoice and my buyer can't pay, shouldn't this kind of issues be a top top priority?

If it's of help to anybody, although error is thrown in big red square on the top, invoice is still properly prepared, it's just that when this happens buyer does not receive notification. So, all you need to do is to tell buyer invoice is there and ready for payment. It appears as if system crashes when it needs to send notification/message to a buyer (when there are many items to put on it). It happened to me with invoices with 20 and 30 items on them.
