Can not send message

I can receive messages but can not reply in the message box bottom left corner 2000/2000 appears. Letters can be added using the curser for each letter. Answers can be set on cell phone where is the problem

Try disabling Grammarly if you are using that browser extension.

Or try sending an eBay message using another browser.

I had been having the same Message Center issue for the past several days. When I clicked 'Reply', the entire web page appeared different than usual. Then after typing 1 letter, it froze, not allowing me to proceed further.

I saw the posts and actually did disable my Grammarly, or thought I did. It gives you 2 options and I first chose the, 'Until Next Time' option. After this, I went back to the Message Center, clicked on 'Reply' and nothing had changed, still different looking page and freezing after the 1st letter. 

I went back to this post and started to reply, but noticed the green Grammarly G was still showing in the lower right corner of the conversation box. This time when I went to disable, I time chose the 'Disable From eBay Site Forever'. 

This time it worked. All problems solved.   

Finally, I chose the, Disable from eBay website forever.
