If you are using Internet Explorer 11 and having problems with the main eBay UK page hanging or causing Explorer to crash, try using another browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Opera instead, at least for eBay. If you can't use another browser, you can try bookmarking the eBay UK sitemap page and using that rather than going to the main eBay page (which is apparently causing problems for users of IE11 lately in the US and UK):

https://pages.ebay.co.uk/sitemap.html

If signing in sends you back to the main page, close the tab and go back to the site map, and from there to whatever eBay page you are trying to reach.

Re: CANNOT ACCESS MY EBAY

eBay has a Major Problem with their Homepage and Many Users Can't Sign-in.

It's been known by eBay and has been a problem for over two weeks.  I escalated this and Alan, the Community Boards Manager, has indicated that their Technical Team is working on it and he will update us.

I'm on Windows 7, IE 11 and have no other issue at any other website, except the eBay Homepage.  Customers using Firefox have also reported problems signing in.  The ineptness of the Technical Team and eBay to resolve this is very clear.

The work-around I use (I refuse to switch to Chrome) is to sign-in at another eBay page.  I sign-in from Community Boards.  You may also get an error message when you do this, but closing the page and opening again (to continue the process) should work.  My post here says it does, as I haven't switched to Chrome.

The biggest problem is that many Customers (and potential Customers) are impacted by this, which is resulting in lower traffic on the site, hence less sales.  That combined with the new GTC fiasco, will further erode sales at eBay and make good customers stop buying and selling.
