I just have to say I've been selling on eBay since 2003 (17 years) and I've NEVER been treated this poorly by a company. After this I will be closing my eBay account due to the absolute total lack of help I've been offered as a long time member. A buyer purchased an item from me (a NES console) and when it arrived to them the cables did not fit their tv. The buyer wants me to refund them or buy them new cables because THEY DIDN'T READ THE LISTING. I shouldn't have to buy new cables for anyone, they did not read the listing because it clearly states the color of cables it comes with (in HD photos no less). I have called eBay customer service BUT THEY LITERALLY JUST HANG UP ON ME AND TELL ME TO VISIT THEIR AWFUL HELP PAGE THAT IS JUST A BIG ERROR SCREEN. I have tried the resolution center but there are no options that I can click, when I go to respond to the return request it only gives me the option to refund them??? Why can't I deny an absurd return request? Why can't I get ahold of a real customer service person? All I do is pay outrageous fees and receive NO help. Overall just done with eBay at this point...terrible customer service

Just how Stupid are the people running Ebay to let a business with so much momentum, other auction sites would never be able to catch up, but now they are letting that slip away, what would it take to have some actual customer service? im guessing .02% of their profit. what absolute morons.

eBay's protection rights for our sellers are too low. They are only for their own interests. They hope that people will buy more things, but they do not protect our sellers.

I am being scammed by a buyer right now. They texted me and asked me to send a $300 gift card with their purchase! I am not able to contact Ebay in any way! This customer servicer is useless!!!

I am being scammed right now by a buyer. They purchased the a watch from me. They have not paid. They texted me and asked me to send a $300 gift card with the purchase. I said no. I have found NO WAY of reporting them!!! The Ebay customer service is useless!!! You can't call them. I have messaged them online and get NOTHING!!! I am so mad!!!!! Any ideas of what I can do?

You can use the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page to request a call back from eBay. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.

Thank you so much. I was finally able to find the screen to report this. I received an email back saying that the will be investigating this. I don't know why they make it so difficult to contact them. It's horrible. Thank you again for your great help!

EBay removed the customer service phone number. Ebay has been becoming greedy. They are trying to save customer service costs.
I also noticed that eBay has been charging sales tax on selling services.
There is no sales tax on services in the State of Texas. Also, I belive no other US states charge sales tax on services or labor services purchase
I strongly belive, ebay is involved in Sales Tax Fraud. Charging sales tax to buyers and keeping the money.
