I'm using the bulk relisting tool, which until today has always relisted items alphabetically by title. I didn't love how that worked, but I adjusted by starting similar items with the same keywords so that they would stay together in the auctions (in case someone wanted to browse and see if other similar things were on offer, so as to make it easier for them to find like items). For instance, I'd start with 'antique chinese' and go on from there.
I'd prefer to list things in a certain order, again, to keep similar items together. If the bulk relisting tool would just relist items that I have in the order they began (or ended) during the last auction, I could just relist them all at one time and be done with it. Now, I relist things in groups - e.g. Christmas items, contemporary art glass, glass tableware, etc, but I still like to keep things together in the groups. For example, various items by the same maker, such as Villeroy & Boch.
Here's the problem - when I was relisting several at a time - Christmas and then Chinese goods, in my case, the tool didn't alphabetize. So for example, the Hallmark Christmas items weren't kept together, but were sprinkled through the other Christmas items. They also didn't relist by the order they were starting in (or ending) the last time they were up for auction.
Does anyone know what's happening? Does anyone know if there are commands to the bulk listing tool that would allow me to order my items. Thanks very much to anyone reading through all of this.
