Hello,
I have seen a bug on estimated shipping time on January. I have sent all the details to the french ebay customer service and never received any answer.
Unfortunately, I think they just didn't care about my message.
I hope that eBay read messages on this forum and will listen to me.
It is a bug that is misleading buyers, impact sellers and so it impact eBay too because of unsastisfied buyers.
The bug is still here in July and became worst.
I will explain what is consists on.
When a handling time is given, it is ignored on the final estimated time given to the buyer.
Whatever the handling time I configure : 1 day, 3 days, 10 days, the final estimate time given to the buyer is the same.
It doesn't impact seller that send in 1 day but all the others that are not sending on a daily basis.
In January, this wrong estimate time appered only on the info given to the buyer on order details. But the old and correct estimated time was still displayed correctly on the item page. Moreover the correct time was given when putting a feedback when ebay asks buyers if the item was delivered on time.
In July, the wrong estimate time appers also on the item page. And I think it is just a matter of time before it appears on the feedback page too.
I really hope that ebay will take my message in account and correct this bug. I am open to discussion if any complementary information or test is needed.
Please look at the photos I have taken in January and sent to the customer service :
Here new photos on July :

Additional test :
I see that the situation on ebay.de where I have also listings is still the same than on January.
Here screenshots from a selling I have done today to a buyer in Hungary from an ebay.de selling.
We can clearly see the differences between the time given to the buyer and the time displayed before buying.

Did anybody have any comment on that ? Wether ebay services or sellers that have remarked the same problem ?
