Bug - offer duration showed 48 hrs before submitting it, but after submit = 96 hours?

I sent an offer this evening on my phone to two watchers on an item. Prior to submitting the offer, the software said the offer would be for 48 hours.  Once I hit submit, it said the offer expires in 96 hours.  Maybe it multiplied the normal offer window by the number of watchers?

A few days ago, I was getting the 4 day offers that other people were reporting, but they had stopped and my offers were 48 hours again. Since then, I've been checking them before submitting, so I'm sure it said 48 hours.  I checked the desktop site, and it also shows the 96 hour duration for this offer.

eBay made an unannounced change on Sept 20, extending the offer window from 2 days to 4 days. If you're seeing the old 2 day window on the app, make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

Great reason for us sellers NOT to try sending offers. How ridiculous for ebay to make a change not thoughtful of sellers (where their money comes from). Ihabe 200 watching and I'm not about to lock my many listings.

Saw this Best Offer timing item too. Don't have nuff time to look at mine sent (since a lot are on auto) PLUS my app is not set to auto-update for this very reason (even if there is a new release that may bring on more technicalities).
