@Anonymous
I finally figured out when using the bulk Relist (not Sell Similar) will reset the quantity to the original QTY. It's acutally not the Relist command that does it!
I had to end all my listings that were using SmartPost shipping until I could review them and update the shipping method/cost. In relisting I found that when you use the End Listing the listing shows in the Unsold section with the original quantity. This DOES NOT happen when the 30 day listing expires, only when you use (bulk?) End Listing.

Hi @dtexley3, if a listing ends with a quantity greater than 0, then when it is relisted the quantity would match the most recent value. If a listing ends with a quantity of 0, then when relisted, the quantity would reset to the original value. Are you seeing something different with your listings? I can look into this further with examples, no problem!

In this instance the listing originally had a quantity of 2, I sold 1. Then the SmartPost rate went balistic and I ended the listing. Today I went in to relist this item and I caught the quantity being 2 instead of 1. Before I saved the updated listing I openned another window and went to the Listings - Unsold list and the item had a quantity of 2 there.
It's been a few hours now and I'm not sure but I think it was this item: 183038337794

Hey @dtexley3, it looks like the first listing for this item was for a quantity of one, then was relisted a few times and at some point was changed to a quantity of two. I wasn't able to find a sales record related to any of these listings, though the original listing is over 120 days ago and our records do not typically go back that far.
I've tested this out on my end with a listing with a quantity of 2 that originally had a quantity of three, and found that both through the normal relist process and the bulk relist process the quantity of 2 was preserved. Since I'm not able to recreate this, let me know if you run into an example of a listing that ended with a quantity of 1 or more, but less than the original quantity, and when relisted reverted to the full original quantity. Screenshots would be very helpful, but I can still get it reported if all you have is the item numbers!

Hi @dtexley3, I also wanted to let you know that I tested this out with Sell Similar, and the original quantity was used instead of the most recent quantity. This is more of an FYI, as I believe you are taking different steps. Either way, happy to look into this further with you with more info!
