Did you mean:

Brand search not operational

I am experiencing a problem when I try to do a brand search in the Glass/Pottery section.

Is there a major problem being worked on, or has there been a change in how people are to search for company specific products?

Re: Brand search not operational

eBay is in the process of reorganizing some categories, so there is certainly some search disruption going on.

What problem are you having, exactly?

Are you searching with keywords? Or browsing?

When I search that category using the category name as search keywords, I seem to be able to filter by brand without problems in multiple browsers.

Alternatively, you could try searching that category using the brand as the keyword:

Re: Brand search not operational

I've been selling for over 20 years now on Ebay and I have multiple listings under

Glass & Pottery

Glassware

Contemporary

Boyd

The listings that I have listed now I originally put under

Glass & Pottery

Glassware

Contemporary

Boyd

Now say that they are under

When I do a search under

Pottery & Glass

And then under Glassware where it lists different manufactures it does not list "Boyd Glass" as an option as it always has shown so I click on "Show More" and it immediately takes me to the Error page which shows a kid in a rain-suit and it says

We looked everywhere.

Looks like this page is missing. If you still need help, visit our help pages

Re: Brand search not operational

Part of the problem may be related to the ongoing reorganization. I think many category links are not fully updated, and users seem to be running into bad links. Hopefully once the reorganization is finished, those links will all be updated.

Try starting your search with keywords. A search using keywords will typically provide more options than simply browsing a category without using keywords. Then, from the search results, change the Category if necessary. Then add any Filters.

That seems to work pretty consistently for me: Keywords, then Category, then Filters.

Or just use your brand as a keyword:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=boyd&_sacat=870&LH_TitleDesc=0&_fsrp=1&Brand=Boyd&rt=...
