Being charged insertion fees AND deducted a free listing out of my monthly limit.

I am being charged insertion fees at the same time as being deducted in my monthly limit for listings.

That's the time stamp on the payment transaction. That's not the time stamp on the listing. Sometimes payment transactions are on a slight delay.

Go to your active listings page here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sh/lst/active

(Hopefully that link works - I just changed .com from my account to .co.uk)

Customize your table view to add start date / end date columns. You will see the exact date/time your listings were posted and are set to renew.

Usually when that happens the item is listed in 2 categories.

What's the item number affected?

This is just one example - 387868434147

They are all renewed listings so they shouldn't be in two categories.

I have been charged for around 30 renewed items so far.

@retrouncovered

Although you only have 71 listings on the .com site, you have over 300 on the .co.uk site so you're being charged for those extras over 250.

That listing renewed yesterday, Feb 28. Go to your Seller Hub Overview page and look for the Promotions panel. Click on 'expired' at the bottom. Does it show you used up your full monthly allotment for Feb under the used/left numbers? If you went over your allotment then you would have been charged an insertion fee when it renewed.

If that doesn't solve it I suggest posting on the UK community in case there is a tech error specific to the UK site.

My monthly limit reset today. Should they not come out of that first before the listings over 250 start to charge?

If the listing renewed today March 1 then yes, but as I mentioned above that listing renewed on Feb 28 which means it was over your allotment and subject to an insertion fee.

Thanks, I'm not sure why but I see it as being renewed/charged today. The number of items I am being charged also does calculate to the same number reduced in my monthly free total.

Thanks that worked!

Looks like some of the listings were actually live just before the shop opened. So based on time, my free monthly allowance didn't actually apply until after they renewed.
