Did you mean:

Automatic email forwarding

Is it possible please to have a message arriving in my inbox to be AUTOMATICALLY forwarded to my ISP email account?

Thank you. Best regards.

Re: Automatic email forwarding

If you mean arriving in your local email client inbox, you set this up on your email server's website.

If you are talking about messages arriving in your eBay Message inbox, you set that up in your eBay Preferences.  However, it often does not work correctly.  Another long time eBay glitch.

Re: Automatic email forwarding

I am very frustrated with Ebays email forwarding to my POP email.  I haven't been receiving notifications of Ebay activity to the email account associated with my seller IDs lately.  I used to get an email for every item that was listed or ended.  Now it's a random occasional email.  I used to get an email if there was a buyer made an offer.  Now, not at all.  When I send a buyer an invoice, I check "copy me on this invoice" and never receive an email.  What's going on??

I've gone into the communication preferences and tried to turn on the options but they are all GREYED OUT.  This is very frustrating!

I don't use a smart phone for ebay or any other ecommerce for that matter, and need to be able to check some of these things by email.

Re: Automatic email forwarding

eBay's email alerts, especially for messages has be having problems since early last year, and it recently is getting worse again.  eBay seems to have little interest in fixing this for some reason.

Re: Automatic email forwarding

Did you ever figure out how to FIX this non-forwarding messages to outside email?

I lost a BIG SALE because ebay did not forward me the buyers offer to my outside email address.  Yet if I login to ebay and look at messages they are there and if I reply and check send me a copy I receive.

So how do I FIX to I receive messages to my outside email (POP) from a buyer they send for a question or offer?  I do not have the time to be monitoring my ebay message via ebay.

This is just not right.  I pay a listing fee and ebay does not send me the buyers questions and offer and I end up losing the sale...but ebay gets paid.  If this is not fixed I will have no choice but to contact my credit card company and complain about paying a listing fee but ebay is not completing their end of the deal.

THIS STINKS.   Am I missing something.  Is there a setting that got changed.  Looked at setting but nothing about forwarding email address.  And since I receive every other email from ebay (invoices, listing confirms, listing ends and when I send an message and tag to send me a copy) it seems like my setting would be correct.  I also checked my junk and other folders on my pop side and nothing.

Re: Automatic email forwarding

This is strictly a problem on eBay's end that crops up for some members at times.  Only thing you can do is complain to eBay.
