Auto Relist Gone?

Good afternoon everyone, was just reaching out to see if anyone has experienced recently their auto relist function on auctions disappeared?  I have been selling on and off with eBay for over 10 years and have gotten more consistent within the past few years as needing an additional source of income. This past week I noticed all of my 5 & 7 day auctions are no longer auto relisting and there isn't even an option when I try to relist them to have them auto relist. (Desktop or Mobile) Just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this issue and feed back would be appreciated.

Auto relist, at least the "free" auto relist is an eBay gift to new sellers (includes older that are cranking it up a bit) for a little while, and then goes away.

That may, or may not be what you are experiencing.

That is what I have been told by customer service who has been extremely unhelpful. It's hard to believe that after 2 years of consistent selling with this feature that they can just take it away with out any warning.

Thank you, I am aware and have had this conversation with customer service. They can not provide an explanation of what a "new" or "occasional" seller is. It needs to be discussed with "upper management" who is not reachable via phone or email.

A new seller is one that just started to sell.

An infrequent or occasional seller is one that sells occasionally. Example of an occasional seller is one that will sell for a couple of months. Then stop for 90 days or more then returns for a short time.

It's not a TRS that's been selling for years.

AI apparently has been programmed to know.

With 282 sales in the past 90 days apparently AI does not view you as occasional.

I would expect that eBay does not feel that they have to give you an explanation from higher up, and likely down below may not know🤣

Not all policies are for public knowledge. eBay can do what eBay wants to do.

Seems that customer service was already helpful when they told you that it was for new/occasional.

You are obviously not a new seller. If you are not eligible for automatic relists on auctions, then you are not an "occasional" seller anymore, either. eBay has already "told" you what you need to know.

What more do you need to know? You're not going to get any better explanation than that. If eBay wanted to provide a better explanation, it would already be in the policy.

I've been selling off and on since 1998 and about 3 years ago I started paying for subscription.

I've been using Auto Relist on all of my auction style listings and all of a sudden they are no longer relisting.

I wasn't aware of any "new" or "occasional" seller rule. When I talked to Customer Service yesterday, they did not say anything about that either. 

So, I relisted some of my autions that had only relisted 4 times (instead of 😎 before they showed up in my Unsold/Not Relisted file and I was able to check the Auto Relist feature.

So, I'm STILL confused!!!

If you have to keep relisting them, wouldn't it be easier to list as a fixed price one time?

I called eBay customer service about the disappearance of 'Auto Relist up to 8 times free' recently. The explanation was vague at best with no definitive answer. However he did advise me to go to the drop down window on my items for sale page, check all of my listings, then go to Actions and click on relist items continuously until they sell, NEVER EXPLAINING THAT IT IS NOW FEE BASED.  I just looked a month later at my financials and saw I was hit with over $400 in listing fees !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Disgusting deception #$%^&*()!@#$%^%$#*()  😡 👺
