If there is a new app I can't get it. My current app will not let me in. It wants me to update, but won't let me in to do it!? What is up!?

Which OS are you using, and is it a recent enough version to support the latest version of the eBay app?

My iPad is a 4thgeneration. My question is why not just keep both? Why delete the older version? Or offer a compatible version? Makes no sense. Bye Ebay, hello Amazon!

Good question. I do not know. You would have to ask eBay about that.

Perhaps there are security or licensing reasons why the older versions of the app can no longer be used. Just a possibility; I have no idea what eBay is actually thinking.

At least it is still possible to use a browser to go to ebay.com.

Some older Android versions can use a third-party app, but I do not know about iOS.
