I have used the app to list nearly everyday for the past few months and there have been very little to no problems. All of a sudden today the app has begun crashing when I click "continue" when creating a listing. This has happened on both my iPhone and iPad (and yes, I have tried restarting both devices). There was not a device software update today nor an eBay app update today. Every other app on my devices has been working just fine, so I'm having trouble understanding what the problem may be.
My iPhone is a 7+ and is running iOS 11.4
My iPad is an air 2 and is also on iOS 11.4
If anyone else has been having this problem and knows what is causing it/how to solve it please let me know. This is very frustrating because I mainly list only using my phone and tablet.

I got in touch with eBay today and they advised to re-install the app, which i did and the same thing happened again. They also advised me to go to a computer and use it or use safari to list items. Very frustrating when things like this happen. In this day and age things like this should not happen at all.

Yes, same problem much of the evening yesterday...much of the day worked OK. I am a little worried about getting started this morning for fear I won’t be able to work.

I still can’t use the iOS apps due to crashing, and don’t see any solutions yet...
I see several others having same issues and have called to inform eBay, only to get typical scripted answer of “re-install app”.
OMG.. as if we haven’t already done that, and TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE POSSIBLE BEFORE ACTUALLY HAVING TO CALL EBAY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WASTE MORE TIME GETTING NOWHERE......
But I do notice you can get there attention by directly tweeting the problems with eBay to the whole world. I do not have a twitter account to notify eBay of the CRITICAL PROBLEMS.
So If anyone else (with a twitter account) is having the same issue, could you please tweet eBay about the problems with iOS app...... would sure appreciate any help with this!

brian@ebay This app issue is preventing people, including myself, from listing items. Please get the word out to the CS teams that reinstalling the app is a waste of time and frustrates the users as it has no effect on the issue.
Please continue to express our concerns that eBay needs to prioritize fixing all of the various issues currently plaguing the site over new features. Which is going to generate more sales, fixing our ability to list items or implementing new seller ratings that punish us for "too many free returns"?

Hi @dtexley3, it looks like a fix was implemented earlier this morning. Updating the iOS app to version 5.20.0 or later resolves the issue. If your experience differs, let me know!

I've been running 5.21.1 since last week, it certainly does not resolve this issue. It hit me late yesterday on the tail ended of adding 30 new listings. The last 8 were a nightmare.

Exactly the same problem 11th and 12th June. Have reinstalled app, re started iPhone and iPad. App crashes on the Continue prompt
