Annoying eBay messages

I have two accounts. Every time I switch from one account to the other, I get an annoying e-Bay message such as "A new device  is using your account - Change your password". I don't have another device, and I am sick of changing accounts. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

Have no idea why this is happening, nor how to stop it, but I have no trouble ignoring any messages that I feel do not apply to me or my account.

I use a VPN and regularly dump cookies so I get lots of those messages in my Email from Ebay and others. I just click-delete. To me it's worth it for the peace of mind.

Deleting eBay cookies can cause those messages, as can changing your network IP address.

If you are sick of changing accounts, you should consider using more than one browser and staying signed in to one eBay account in each browser. To change accounts, switch to the other browser and avoid signing in and out repeatedly.

What I am sick of is having to create and enter  a new password every time I switch accounts. And after I enter a new password, I get another email from  eBay that says "We wanted to make sure it was you". How can I tell eBay that I am the only one using the two accounts on the the same computer?

I didn't mean to say that I am "sick of changing accounts". What I meant was that I am sick of changing passwords every time i switch accounts.

Why do you need to create a new password? Doesn't your device save them? Mine do.

I have two accounts with two separate passwords, but when I switch accounts, eBay will ask me to enter the password. And often it won't accept the password and forces me to create a new one It's frustrating.

Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Any of those can cause issues. If eBay is not sure where you are signing in from, eBay may think more than one user is signing in from different locations, which is suspicious.

If you are not doing anything suspicious, perhaps someone else is.
