I noticed Add Recommended Item Specifics in Tasks was removed a few days ago not a week or so.
Personally, I am glad that eBay decided to remove the item specifics nonsense. I fill out what is required without a lot of fluff when I initially create a listing and found it redundant to keep clicking “don’t remind me about this again” after the listing is posted.
This isn’t a technical issue it is part of the “changes” to the Seller hub.
If you really need to change items specifics you will need to edit or bulk edit your listings.
