I use to run a store and went on vacation, due to circumstances my vacation was longer than expected so I cancelled my store to avoid the fees building up.
Since I have cancelled the store my account has remained in vacation mode but as I have no store I am unable to change this setting.
Any advice?
Thanks!

@bebch0 Trying to get eBay to help on the phone right now is really not possible ... if it were me I would subscribe to the entry level store on the month to month basis, change the vacation settings and the cancel the subscription in about a week to make sure they are off (or you could cancel it before the next billing cycle).
It will cost some money but you can argue that with eBay once they are open for phone support business ...

The minimum commitment for a store subscription is one full calendar month plus the balance of the month in which you sign up which is pro-rated for the exact number of days. So if you sign up today you will have to pay for all of June plus about 26 days in May. Then to avoid being billed for July, just cancel at any time during June.

Even with the Starter-level store, you get extra free listings BUT you can only list auction format for free in 13 specific categories. So if you are planning to list auctions in any other categories, do it BEFORE you sign up for the store, so you can list them under your regular non-store free 50 for May. Good luck!

EDIT: I see that you are registered in Malta. The above advice is based on the policies of eBay's site in the United States, because your question was posted on the US community discussion board.
