Account restriction, no messages sent to me providing details!

So, I won some items off ebay at the end of August, and tried to request an invoice for them, which ebay flat out refused to do, saying combined shipping was disallowed.

 

Now, this happens on EVERY Auction listing I've won, but never happens when I request an invoice for items using "Buy it Now".

 

So I waited patiently for the seller so send me an invoice, nothing, nadda, no contact from the seller at all.

 

Now this Sunday I received 4 messages from ebay that the seller cancelled the order.

 

When trying to bid, I've been blocked with a restriction, checking all the provide links for details and it says go to your messages.

 

here's the crunch, eBay hasn't sent me any message providing me the details about my account restriction, the details aren't in the order cancelled messages, there's no links on the site in my account section with details, nothing.

 

So now I'm stuck, unable to bid on items because of ebay claiming I haven't fulfilled in their terms "A legally binding contract", a contract that the seller ALSO failed to fulfill by failing to make any attempt to contact me to enquire why I hadn't paid yet, all caused by a glitch in ebay's system that stops you requesting invoices on items you won through bidding.

 

And considering eBay is supposed to notify me of the account restrictions within their policy guidelines, they've ALSO FAILED TO FOLLOW A "LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT"!

 

To make matters worse, I've tried contacting ebay, but they have no complaints email address, they have an option to "chat" with an agent that's tied into USA times, which is bizarre since i'm on eBay's UK site, not their USA site, which is NOT coming up as a valid option to click at all, only the phone call option.

 

Needless to say, I'm **bleep** off beyond compare, I'm being punished for eBay's poor coding and a seller who didn't want to pursue the sale of their items!

If ebay would just allow the requests for combined shipping invoices this would have happened.

 

I sell on ebay from time to time myself, and I've throughly checked the listings process, there's no option in place that should cause a seller's listing to refuse the invoice request.

 

there's no such option in the Postage section at all, nor in the account settings!

ALL sorted now, and the agent I finally got to talk to said they'll pass on my issues regarding the broken invoicing option to the relevent team
