I am feeling kind of lost as to what to do with my eBay account... I have a (very old) account that has now been locked, and I'm not allowed to reset my password and unlock it without contacting a customer service agent. There's no possibility of contacting a customer service agent online, either by chat or e-mail, the automated assistant is completely useless, and the customer service phone number does not connect me to anybody. I could honestly just give up on eBay entirely due to this extreme customer unfriendliness, but I have an order coming my way and I'd like to at least be able to login to make sure that everything is alright, and to confirm that I've received my order, when it gets here. Any tips at all on how I could access to my account?

You are located in Sweden, correct?
Try this link and see if it gives you a live agent Chat option -
https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkpid
There isn't a Customer Service # to call, we can only request that they call us.
If that doesn't work and you're on social media, contact eBay CS that way - they have very good teams to help resolve account issues -
Only use the Private DM or PM Messaging - do not post your account info publicly.
Give them your User ID, your real name/address, the email attached to your account, Item #, and explain the issue in detail.
They usually respond in a day or two.

If nothing else works, there should be a hidden "contact" link that you can reach by following the "Need help signing in?" link on the page where you are prompted for a password when signing in. From there choose the "reset" option, but instead of resetting your password, look for the tiny "contact" link -- that is specifically for users that cannot sign in or reset their passwords by normal means, and it may provide another contact channel for non-US users.

This link approach worked, thanks! Or at least - it actually got me to a live service agent... after asking some questions they started the loop chain of email 'support' where they would ask for scans of my passport and utility bill, then telling me to call support in Australia (which I was never able to reach), then calling me by somebody else's name and calling me a valued eBay seller instead of a buyer, and then telling me that I will never need to share my scanned proof of identity with them, but they do need me to get in touch with Australia.
Obviously this is dangerously unprofessional, and I regret sharing my scanned information with them in the first place... I was never able to leave feedback on the last purchase I made, since I'm not allowed to log in, but I hope the seller forgives me. I'm thinking now that I should just drop this and walk away from the trash fire that is eBay - is there any risk to me to just leave the account as is, locked behind the stone wall of eBay 'support'? I don't mind never using eBay again, but I'm a little worried that the capricious support team might unlock my account for somebody else - should I do anything to try to kill the account?
Again - thanks a lot for your help; even if I'm incredibly unsatisfied with eBay's support, you gave me what was probably the best possible advice to try to get some intelligible support out of them.

@henro9324 - sorry this has been such a hassle for you, and I don't understand why Australia was looped in to all this - is that the eBay site your locked account was/is registered on?
If you use social media at all, I can only suggest that you contact eBay Support there instead of the other link.
The social media teams are a bit more professional and knowledgeable than the general support reps and may be able to unlock that account, or close it for you if that's what you want.
Contact them using PM or DM only - don't post your info publicly.
As for the seller, you can still contact them from the listing page, or from their feedback page, even though you can't leave feedback if you just wanted them to know you received the item in good order. Look for the "Contact seller" link.
