Getting this today calle BT technical said its an issue beyond thier servers, called ebay twice no luck I am avid follower buying and selling

what can be done???????

I just got the same message after trying to figure out why I cannot upload photos to a seller.   My error was saying "server not found" when trying to upload.

Exactly the same for me . any ideas a few days now . I cant access my account

even typing in www.ebay.co.uk gives me access denied . Tried ie. chrome and firefox on laptop and main computer same when trying ebey mobile app

I used to buy and sell a lot on ebay. seems like its the end for me on ebay

I have been having "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.ebay.com" on this server" for several weeks, I tried to reboot modem and router, switch routers, keep modem and router shut down for a long period of time, the issue might be go away mysteriously for a short time and then came back mysteriously also. After talking with the optimum support and reading the posts regarding this issue, finally I was able to resolve this issue with firm resolution, at least I believe it is a firm solution, it is actually not hard. Below is what I did,

1. log into router admin page,

2. go to WAN information page

3. at line for MAC address, there should be a button says "Clone", click on it.

4. Router's current mac address will showing up, e.g. 01-23-45-67-89-ab-cd-ef

5. make a change to this address, all you need to change is just one digit from this address, in my case, I chaged last two digit from ef to eg.

6. save the change, router will reboot, 

7. after reboot, a new WAN ip address will be assigned.

8. Test previous blocked address and let us know if you are able to access it or not.

Perhaps you have become too complicated user for ebay inc. and they decided to mysteriously block your access? That does not mean there's anything wrong with you or with actions you've taken to protect yourself from seller or buyer fraud, but perhaps you want a fair share of your rights as a buyer after being scammed by a seller? Or vice versa? Usually criminal enterprise would do that, .... but ebay? Strange.

I get this when on a VPN. ie Using a Sweden IP I get this message for certain  UK job sites. So perhaps IP related and ebay or ISP has block whatever IP your using.

Thanks for your help. iwill try on my microsoft normal computer. as i see yours is a mac as it says mac in the viewing..hopefully it will work somehow. as this is quite frustrating. put in something just now and 3 times denied. these i see are 2016 on here it is now 2018 and may uk..many thanks for help in knowing it can be resolved. yours is the first post i have come across with help.
