Abandoned Job: invalid line.

Can anybody shed any light on why I am getting an "Abandoned Job: invalid line" error with this file.

p.s. the file extension should be .csv

That will not open in Word, as it contains unreadable content.

You might look for control characters in the csv file, especially the linefeed. This would cause the line to end and a new line beginning, which would not have a valid Action verb, which may be giving you the invalid line error.

Another issue, may be an invalid header. If you opened the template in Word, then Word adds characters that would invalidate the headings. The headings must be exactly as stated in the AdvancedInstructions.

Use NotePad, if you must, but a spreadsheet is best.

If you change the filetype to .csv it will open up in excel.

It does not matter, Excel will not display control characters embedded in headings/descriptions.

i suggest you start with a fresh template. Do not filter thru Word or other spreadsheet program.
