Did you mean:

A web page is slowing down your browser

For a couple days now, while only ebay pages are open, using Firefox, I've been getting this message:

"A web page is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do? Stop it (or) Wait"

Some ebay pages are taking a very long time to load.

Anyone else?

Re: A web page is slowing down your browser

Had the same issues ,

I was forced to install a add blocker , and it so far has fixed the issues .

U Block Origin from Firefox extensions . Worked right away with no additional setup .

Was really annoying to work with Ebay on Firefox, ebay simply is running to many adds or some have bad scripting and content.

Seems sucky after they made me remove all my listing templates iv been using for last 10 years.

Yes ebay suck , way it is..

First, I am amazed this goes back to  2017.  I only recently started having problems and mainly use Firefox.  I swear Ebay customer support just doesn't care as they keep telling me to refresh your cache (does not work) although one person did tell me to try another browser.  I am switching browsers (just for Ebay) as that is the only place this seems to be happening.  Ebay does have lots of competition now especially in the clothing department so I understand the ads.  But what I don't understand is not having good support for their customers as that will encourage customers to leave and then who reads the ads so eventually you have the ads leave too.  Ebay only thinks for today - not the future.  One day they will go the way of Sears.

Yes, I noticed this was an old thread from 2017 that you replied to and it seemed that there was never a resolution to the old Firefox problem.

Right now eBay has an Internet Explorer Home Page Error (> 1 month) and some mobile devices are also reporting issues.  I'm also seeing some users report problems with Firefox (as you have).  I have Tech background and I'm fairly confident it's bad script and too many ads.  If you're interested in all the back-and-fourth you can see some of the other threads where I've posted regarding this.

Also, make sure if you use Chrome you can see the actual listings when you do a search.  I've been seeing reports of users who can see search items when they use Internet Explorer, but not when using Chrome (one provided screenshots today, to show the difference).
