I mentioned in another posting that I had attempted to set up a new promotion on 6/29 when one ended and no prices were updated ( as we were warned)...BUT it seems that since I did not end the promotion that it has been updating in the background and i just discovered this morning that several of my items suddenly have a 30% discount applied on the 4th, although I never selected these items for a 30% discount and they should have qualified as the last promotion hasn't been 14 days. Fortunately, I did notice and end the promotion after only one item sold for much less than I authorized.
A little while ago, I decided to turn off the "best offer" option on a high priced (for me) item as I had lowered the list price. When I did so, I saw that suddenly it has a Dollar amount set for "Automatically accept offers of at least ____" Which I did NOT set, I NEVER do!
I have always utilized auction for most of my listings, a couple of weeks ago, suddenly my auction activity dropped DRAMATICALLY! My Buy Nows and Fixed Prices were doing well though. Auction still have recovered and I just noticed on a popular items that is always highly bid, that there is almost NO activity from regular eBay users, it seems to be almost exclusively guests. So, maybe everyone but me already knew, but I am guessing that there is a real problem with regular users being able to bid on auctions?! Which explains why my Buy Now Sales jumped!
