2 threads have same problem

On the Ask a Mentor board there are 2 posts stating that items have sold, but show up in items to be relisted.  They can't send invoices, don't show as being sold.

I have done a sweep through of our open tickets and this issue with sold items going to the unsold tab and there is a sitewide ticket open to be resolved. Sellers can reach out to customer support to have their account added to the ticket and just let them know that you are running into ALERT14497.

No idea if there is a connection, but this sort of thing has happened in the past.

 

Typically the situation self corrects, but there was a workaround to send an invoice that worked previously:

I would post this reply @evry1nositswindy - you can copy/paste if you want:

 

There is a site wide tech ticket open for the issue of sold items going to the unsold tab. Sellers can contact customer support to have their account added to the ticket - just let them know you're running into ALERT14497.

 

Past reports of this issue resulted in the item moving from unsold to sold within a few hours, or up to 12 hours. You may want to give this some time to see if that happens.

 

eBay sends alerts to buyers so there is no need to send an invoice unless you need to adjust for combined shipping or similar.

 

If that's the case, sellers in the past have reported success with this method:

"go to the Unsold list, click on number of BIDS which takes you to Bid History and the Send Invoice will appear on the right"
