For 2 days I've experienced problems creating listings, using the sell similar feature and revising listings. After typing in info through entering in my description, I get bounced back up to the top (asking me to complete my listing) when I try to enter in price or shipping data only to find out the description I entered is now gone. Takes 4 to 6 attempts at reentering the description before it stays put and I can list the item. And when doing sell similar the same types of things keep happening. I get all the info up to a point and then I get bounced back to the top only to find things missing or unchanged. And similar issues in revising listings. The changed data won't stay put and it takes multiple attempts to get any listing or change completed. I've tried three different browsers and have the same trouble on all. And I've emptied out cache and cookies and done all the other suggestions I've ever seen eBay put out. There is some kind of bad technical glitch going on.

Sometimes complex forms that include field level validation can be very frustrating.
I have even seen some 'error loops of doom' where unless three fields were perfect all three would be reset.
That said, to avoid screaming in frustration when I write listings, I use the 'Save as Draft' feature frequently.
'Sell Similar' > Save as Draft > edit draft > change title > Save as Draft > setup shipping > Save as Draft
This workflow helps me avoid reentering things or losing all my changes.
Maybe not helpful for active listing revisions but maybe a little less frustrating for you.
Recently a poster with tricky form reset behavior uploaded an animated GIF that showed his screen click steps. This was immensely helpful in debugging his situation and if thats easy for you to do try capturing what sequence of steps you are using that resets the forms and post here.
