Wine liquor decanter help.

Looking for any info on this decanter.  Age, maker, value, etc.  Bought at yard sale along with another identical one.

It is a total of 18" tall.  Stopper is 5" long and fits into the decanter for 1".  No seal around stopper--just honed glass (what caught my eye).   Looks like one of the pineapple patterns.

TIA

Bottom of stopper looks silver.  NOT-just picture.  It is clear like rest of stopper.

Don't think glass is crystal.

Re: Wine liquor decanter help.

The glass is crystal ie colorless. I agree it likely does not have lead content in the formula. I would start here and search decanters first. http://www.eapgs.org/patterns/

Re: Wine liquor decanter help.

The folks at the Early American Pattern Glass Facebook site will know. They are incredibly knowledgeable about everything to do with EAPG. Even if it's not EAPG they will  be able to tell you that, most likely along with an I.D.

Re: Wine liquor decanter help.

Even from the hard to see detail in the pics, it appears cut, not pressed (not EAPG).  IMHO, Eastern European (Czech / Poland), relatively contemporary.  Going to be a tough id.
