Japanese? Satsuma? Signed vase, help with age and/or palace shown.

I picked up this beautiful vase, stands almost 12" tall.  It is signed on the bottom, not sure if I have it turned the

right way to read.

If anyone can help with the marking, age/period.  Also, any idea what this palace or building depicted is?

I'm sorry I can't read the handwritten stuff (you do have it the right way up), but I wanted to say your vase may have been made for an exposition like a World's Fair.
