Italian art glass signature. Help please

I am hoping someone recognizes this signature.  I can make out Italy and 86, but not the name.  The cased glass vase is large measuring 10" high and 11" in diameter.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found this interesting link from Collectors Weekly, claiming the vase is British.

Also I have notice vase is dark burgundy almost brown with green design under fluorescent light and this bright red with gold under incandesent.

I tried a couple searches on the link and I believe it is more for painters and similar artists and not for glass.  Thank you for the link.
