Does anyone know what these are?

I have 4 of these saucers size 5 1/2 inches along with some little bowls, size 4 inches I don’t know what to call them. I don’t know what they are used for. Can anybody help? Thank you

I found a set of these on on another site listed as finger bowls. 

This is a definition I found for finger bowl when I searched:

A finger bowl with a saucer is a small bowl, often made of glass or china, that is filled with water and used to cleanse the fingers after a meal, particularly a formal one. The saucer, which is also made of glass or china, provides a base for the bowl, preventing it from tipping over and catching crumbs.
