Monty Python

I need advice please! My son wants a T shirt for Christmas that has a picture of a Knight on a horse saying NI. Supposedly this is from Monty Python but since I have never seen the show have no idea if it is something appropriate for a 15 year old boy to wear. Can anyone tell me what NI means? Thanks, Joyce

They didn't know either! P Going out to a postcard club meeting now or I'd give a fuller answer. If you find one in extra-large, let me know!

So NI means nothing? OK, then I guess I will let him wear it LOL! Sent you the link since its probably against the rules to link to another outside store in here. Joyce

Thanks Kathy, That certainly was clear as mud, I'm not sure what they were saying except they want shrubs. Am I showing my age? LOL! Joyce

OMG... the Holy Grail is one of the best movies about the whole King Arthur genre. Holy Grail is the basis of the broadway musical "Spamalot". IMHO of all the MP movies, Holy Grail would be the one least likely to 'offend'.

KNIGHTS OF NI: "Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni! Ni!" ARTHUR: "Who are you?" HEAD KNIGHT: "We are the Knights Who Say... 'Ni'!" RANDOM: "Ni!" ARTHUR: "No! Not the Knights Who Say 'Ni'!" ... OK ... Well, I never quite got the Monty Python movie, but I would like to try again one day and see Spamalot! Lynn :x

I am pretty sure you can get it on DVD or video on that rather well known auction site! Fab film - almost equaled by the "life of Brian" - but that did offend some folk. Sara

I would agree that "Meaning of Life" and "Life of Brian" are the two most likely to offend. Of course, I had fairly liberal parents and they had no problems with me watching "Brian" when I was 14/15... although there was that slightly icky moment when Brian wakes up and opens his window... only to realize that it is a 'full monty' shot...
