This is a general question regarding chromolithographic printing, (NOT chromes)
Does anyone know a sure fire way of telling wether it is a chromolithograph or not?
I am aware that usual printing processes leave a uniform pattern of dots usually predominantly black and that generally chromos have no dots. Occassionally I get a card that has variable sized random dots, with no black dots, and on the reverse has been stated chromolithograph, which has led me to think that other cards I have may also be, although not stated as such.
Is there an accurate definitive way of identifying them?.
Thanks all
