why are there delayed auto payment dates from buyers?

I have recently noticed some items sold have a caption that buyer wants to shop more and having a delayed auto pay date, sometimes a week after the sale date, WHY??

no idea but if you check-mark, "Require immediate payment when buyer uses Buy It Now"

then you should have no problems. it also eradicates late payments or non-payments.

unless this is something new which seems ridiculous....
