"faster way to get paid"...but as usual with eBay, there's a fee and it's complicated

Was happy to see the "faster way to get paid" email from eBay today, but my hopes were quickly dashed when I saw the fee added to it, and there's another catch! I thought "Well okay, if I really need funds now, I'll be willing to pay the fee", then when I entered my CC info, it required me to receive a code via text! No other communications options offered! My business has a land line, and I'm not giving eBay my cell phone number! Paypal did not require jumping through hoops to get instant payouts. Why does eBay? Do they not know that sellers having funds to buy goods HELPS THEM TOO?

Paypal also did this fee if you wanted the funds instantaneously.  Just set up to get daily payments.  Thankfully, I don't need the funds immediately to survive but I do realize that lots of folks need the money immediately.
