"Managed Payment" = NO PAYMENT?

I didn't sell anything for awhile on EBAY, but now I'm back to my small store.
I sold something (Auction finished) on  Friday, and another one this morning.
EBAY dutifully notifies me that the items are "Sold - Awaiting Payment"
but unlike my previous experiences, I'm in a black hole
waiting
and
waiting.
Can't print packing slip or mailing label as I have no address for Buyer.
 Just still "awaiting payment."
I went through the rigamarole of signing up for MP, and played the game  of correctly telling EBAY the amount of the test microdeposits in my account.
So, I'm wondering if this is just coincidence that suddenly, people are dawdling on paying, or is there a system SNAFU?

Until the buyer pays, there's not much you can do but wait a couple days.

Once the buyer pays, you'll get their address and be able to print a shipping label.

Have a great day.

Right, but that's because there is no way to know where the buyer wants it shipped until you receive payment with the Ship-To address attached. You don't want to pre-print the mailing label and then discover when the payment arrives that it needs to go somewhere else.

(That said, I have often wondered whether this new process of not allowing the Shipping label to be purchased on-line until payment is received might also have something to do with preventing newbie sellers from falling for fake payment notifications from scam buyers.)
