"Available Funds" with "No Upcoming Payouts"?

Apparently it is understood that as a seller eBay has a condition where you reach a certain amount of money ($600) in sales then they put a hold on your account asking you to update information . This has caused many sellers to have issues with their account/funds, seen some say they’ve been using eBay 20+ years while investigating this issue, I understand that it may be a delay in removing a hold off of an account but for a big company as eBay this inconvenience should be resolved immediately within 2 business days. My account has been saying funds available but received no payout for a while now hopefully if you’re reading this it isn’t too late. For those in this situation feel free to explain your experience.

funds being held is most likely due to how much money has been flowing thru the account, if there is a period of time with no sales and therefore no money being moved around and then suddenly there is money moving again this triggers a automatic hold, no matter how "long" a person has been a seller. Not a whole lot you can do but work thru it. Sometimes the money can be released sooner if everything is valid and current and there is a emergency need but that is done on a case by case basis and may still not result in funds being released right away. This is Industry standard procedure.

The only thing you can really do to avoid it, is to be consistent in always selling "something" so the account is not seen as inactive.

you can thank scammers for this type of thing happening.

*** and yes a "certain $$$ threshold" may also trigger a hold, all really depends on the normal sales on the account and other account factors. A algorithm can be triggered.

@dartpear0

It looks like you are a fairly new seller and you are selling some high value items. eBay will usually hold new seller's funds for at least 30 days from date of purchase to make sure the Money Back Guarantee (MBG) period has cleared.

Also have you set up your bank details for receiving the funds from your sales. It seems since you are well above the $600.00 threshold for a 1099K to be issued you would need to supply eBay with a bank routing number for your bank account and your Social Security or Tax ID.

Congratulations on your sales and the holds should start to disappear if you keep shipping on time with no complaints.
