question on failed payment with MP

does anyone know how long it takes for ebay to do a retry for sending payments with MP

I had just realized that my name on ebay and bank didnt match--after I had a large sale--and they were processing the money

because of the name issue the amount couldnt go into my back account--so now its listed as failed and they will retry to send it (i had just sold another item and now its listed as in my account which it hasnt posted yet but from what I understand even that takes a few days)

does anyone know how lone it takes to have them resend it--do I need to do anything--if it wasnt such a large amount I would just sit and wait--but Id like to know when and how this works out

There's a big difference between a payment and a payout. To clarify- you're referring to a payout.

How often do you have payouts scheduled- daily or weekly? If it's daily then they will try again tomorrow. You should see the date of your next payout in the giant blue box on the payments page. You can see your payments schedule  (daily/weekly) in the box on the bottom right. https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin

I surprised that your application for MANAGED PAYMENTS was approved (even though names on your EBAY account and CHECKING ACCOUNT are different). 

Have you EVER been successful in getting money into your checking account?   Or is this just an isolated case?  

Normally MANAGED PAYMENTS takes 3-5 days before money is deposited into your CHECKING ACCOUNT.

I would just wait a couple of days and if the problem doesn't resolve itself...call HELP DESK.     Go to HELP (select reason for your concern) go to bottom of screen and click on REQUEST CALLBACK (return your phone number and you will get a callback in a minute or two.
