Just put an offer in for an item. Was taken to paypal to sign in. Found that I was on a page as follows.
One-off setup faster checkouts for future payments to Ebay.
Link a debit or credit card
Then given the option to Agree and continue.
Ebay and pay pal already have my bank details. I dont want to link my card for faster payments. I think that by doing this if someone gets into my ebay account there will be no check that it is me buying as I have agreed to this faster checkout.
How do i stop this faster checkout procedure. Lacks security to the buyer.

If you want to make an offer, you will have to agree to this. Alternatively, you can use Buy It Now or (possibly) place a bid on an auction. But you have to authorize payment when you make an offer these days.
After you have placed the offer, you can go to My eBay > Account > Payments (probably login again) and delete the payment method for future purchases. If you used your PayPal account, then you can also turn off the authorized payment for eBay on your PayPal account. Either way will accomplish the same thing. It won't affect the offer you just authorized, but it won't automatically use this payment method for any future offers, you would have to authorize it again the next time.
