I am having issues from the last 2 weeks with the paypal webapp interface running into an endless loop of asking for OTP for additional authentication with my card.
When I select the option to pay, it asks for my card details and after selecting Done and Pay, it goes to the page which asks me to enter OTP for additional authentication. After this, the screen goes to ebay and gets back again to the paypal webapp page asking for OTP again. This happens multiple times andit never ends or just goes into a dead page after a few attempts.
From my understanding this is an issue with the ebay/paypal payment interface. Can I please have someone to look into why this happens.
I cannot buy anything because of this problem. Neither ebay or paypal support is reachable/responding from the last week.

I managed to find the cause. It was because of the banks disabling international transactions/payments without any notifications to me. Its ironical because the card says its an "International Debit card" but it is not.
I finally found one card where the bank provided the option for it to be used after enabling international usage and allowing me to set limits on amounts spent. This worked and the payment went through successfully.
This is not an issue with ebay or paypal. However, I really would have liked them to have helped to point me to the culprit. Sadly that never happened and it was very disappointing. This almost must have made the seller to think I was trying to make a story and holding up his payment. Thankfully, the person I bought the product from was very understanding. Thank God for this.
This can now be marked as resolved. Thanks to the people who responded/offered direction.

You may want to ask this question on the India eBay site. This, eBay.com, is the US site and things may be done differently here.
