Why is ebay holding funds been 2 days and buyer has item with tracking number How does it work  does it get transferred to paypal next It also says postcode doesnt match adress so might be jan 10 to release

Payments do not transfer to PayPal.  You have to sign up with EBay  Managed Payments using a bank account.

If tracking shows it was delivered, then your 'other' statement about postcode not matching doesn't make much sense. Does the Tracking show it was delivered, at least, to the Zip Code of the Label you purchased?

Regarding where the money goes-it does NOT ever go to Paypal (they are NOT eBays processor anymore (past 3 years)- it goes DIRECTLY in your checking account. You needed to 'sign up' for Managed Payments and give them all the info for your bank.

Your payments will be sent to the checking account you provided when you signed up for Managed Payments.

Since it's been awhile since you sold anything, you're treated like a new seller and they can hold the funds for 30 days.

Sign up with Managed Payments like the others stated. It's possible that you got an email from Ebay regarding this sale.   They need the information inorder to send you the funds .  LOOK at MY EBAY and search messages. See if you find one from Ebay.  You will need to provide Ebay too with your social security number.  They might want a valid ID too. You have no choice but to comply inorder to get your funds and continue selling here.
