Do you feel that a company (eBay) should have to provide a valuable service to you (collection and remittance of state sales taxes) without being compensated?
Seriously though, its easy enough to plan for the fee load on your item prior to listing it on the site. Just adjust your asking price to cover the fees and your golden.

The new Facilitator Law being enforced by the States requiring ebay to collect, process quarterly reports and remit the tax dollars collected for 40+ states.
That comes with a cost. Since the item sold is YOUR item, they have every right to charge you for that additional work.
So, no.
